Eduardo Madrigal

Eduardo is a trombonist based in the Inland Empire. He started his musical journey in 7th grade, beginning band class. He originally wanted to play saxophone, but fell in love with the trombone and never looked back.

Over the years, he has been fortunate enough to study with trombonists Steve Suminski, Denis Jiron, Dillon MacIntyre, and Phil Keen. He has also engaged with various groups in pursuit of performance opportunities, including the Los Angeles Symphonic Winds, Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra, Citrus City Brass (as a sub), and the Los Angeles Brass Alliance.

He is pursuing his credentials and hopes to become a band director one day. He received an Associate's degree in Fine and Performing Arts from Riverside City College, a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Cal State LA, and a Master's in Music degree in Music Performance from Cal State Fullerton. He is looking forward to continuing to perform with Citrus City Brass in this expanded role.

 

Joe

Discover the rhythms with Joe, a dedicated private instructor specializing in Drums and Percussion. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Fullerton College, Joe combines a passion for music with a naturally patient and understanding approach to teaching. He prioritizes active listening, ensuring students feel heard and that lessons are tailored to their specific goals and pace. When not immersed in music, Joe enjoys the immersive world of cinema.

 

Bobby

Bobby is a dynamic and enthusiastic music educator specializing in Guitar, Ukulele, and Bass instruction. With a lifelong love for both music and children, Bobby believes in nurturing creativity and building a solid musical foundation in each student.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University and developed a strong musical background through studies with an emphasis in Music at Fullerton College. Bobby's lessons are tailored to individual learning styles, making the journey of musical discovery both rewarding and enjoyable for students of all levels.

Passionate about fostering a love for music in young learners, Bobby is a dedicated instructor offering engaging lessons. 

 

Magdalena

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Miss Magdalena began her musical career from a young age, competing and winning in numerous Yamaha Piano and Electone competitions. A scholarship recipient, she studied piano performance at the Music Department of Biola University and was conferred a Bachelor's degree from Cal State University, Long Beach, along with ABRSM certification. Miss Magdalena also studied Piano Pedagogy with Dr. Monica Lee and advanced music with Dr. Jeremy Siskind at Fullerton College.

With her creativity and passion in music education, Miss Magdalena continuously supports local community schools and churches' activities. She plays keyboard with her church’s worship team and teaches children's Sunday school. She enjoys all kinds of music: classical, gospel, jazz, pop, ethnic, and traditional. She believes studying music is a journey but not a destination. Anyone can learn music at any time of age at one's own pace.

 

Ashleigh

 

Ashleigh Buck is an aspiring and practicing choral conductor and piano pedagogy from Santa Clarita, California. Ashleigh began piano lessons at the age of five years old, under the instruction of Mr. Adam Bendorf, who she studied with for just under ten years. 

 

Ashleigh went on to receive her Associate’s degree in Music from College of the Canyons, studying piano under Dr. Lydia Lee, where she graduated with honors. During her time at community college, she sang in choir with a student leadership position for three years under the direction of Professor Lori Marie Rios. Ashleigh is now pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Choral Conducting and Pedagogy at California State University, Fullerton, with a Scholarship Performance Award (SPA). 

 

Her vision as an educator is to give students of all ages the ability to express their emotions and stories through music, creating beauty in the lives of the performers and audiences alike.
